The artists in this collaboration have been pushing ambient into new territories that are some of the best places it’s ever gone, and creating stunning works that I’m thrilled to experience.

The remixes vary widely, often reminiscent of the varied output of Warp Records in the 90s.

The biggest highlight remains the main Zakè drone-based tracks. He is the master of ambient drone with field recordings and tape manipulations. Favorite track: LL1 [zakè feat. From Overseas].

    3xLP record set housed in a 5mm wide spine, UV high gloss coated jacket. B/W center labels. Records placed in an anti-static rice inner sleeve with a .75 gauge archival polypropylene lining. Includes download card. The record set is housed in a resealable polybag.

    Each record has a unique vinyl color. The pressing plant were instructed to randomize vinyl colors so that each record is completely unique. No record shares the same colored vinyl.

LL features two new arrangements by zakè. LL1 is a 21min. monolithic long-form piece, accompanied by From Overseas on guitar and bass. LL2 is an immersive, drone-laden piece that fuse field recordings and fragmented sound elements beautifully together.

An incredible line-up of seven prolific producers completely reworked the two original arrangements. Bending the ambient genre to its limits, LL encompasses strokes of ambient, drone, drum & bass, electronica, and deep techno elements, spanning across three vinyl records with over two hours of aural expression.
